A giant step towards sustainable development and agricultural education in Madagascar!

We are excited to highlight the progress made by the Mad'Agro Project, an initiative supported by the Fondation Synergie Renouvelable in partnership with the NGO FERT. Our commitment alongside the Fondation Synergie Renouvelable has now spanned 10 years and, thanks to our donation through the charter, this project is transforming education and improving living conditions at the Befandriana Agricultural College in Madagascar.

This project is made possible by an unwavering commitment to ensuring sustainable access to electricity and drinking water for the college's pupils and staff. With the successful installation of 20 solar panels, the repair of water pipes, and the installation of street lights and water standpipes, the project has already made a significant difference to daily life at the college.

It is not limited to improving infrastructure; the aim of this initiative also extends to improving the quality of education through environmentally conscious agroecological training and the use of new information and communication technologies in the curriculum.

Mad'Agro is an example of what we can achieve when organisations and donors come together for a more sustainable and fairer future.
