Responsibilities: You will work within Envinergy's photovoltaic department, reporting to the Partner in charge of photovoltaic transactions and supported by a team of financial analysts.
The role offers considerable autonomy and a cross-cutting view of the photovoltaic sector, from originating opportunities through to closing M&A transactions:
- Business development: ongoing meetings with players in the photovoltaic industry to identify disposal opportunities: operating assets, portfolios of all sizes and stages of maturity, corporate transactions, financial modelling assignments, strategic advice…
- Developing and maintaining an investor network
- Financial valuation of companies intended for a potential sale
- Negotiating and concluding exclusive sale mandates
- Preparing and drafting deliverables: engagement proposals, valuation reports, teasers and information memoranda
- Carrying out advisory assignments and sale mandates on behalf of clients in line with the company's standards: data room standardisation, management of competitive sale processes, analysis of acquisition offers, support in negotiations between stakeholders, including legal advisers and technical auditors.
Location: The role is based in Paris (75008) or possibly at the head office near Montpellier, and involves frequent travel within France.
Candidate experience & profile:
- Education: engineering school, business school or master's degree
- Knowledge of the French renewable energy sector, gained through at least 3 years of successful experience, is highly desirable
- Required qualities: solid grounding in financial modelling and project finance, strong writing skills, high motivation, willingness to travel at short notice, good interpersonal skills, rigour and ability to synthesise, negotiation skills and composure, team spirit
