"France has awarded power contracts to more than 1GW of onshore wind projects in its latest tender, with prices stabilising after the sector was hit by inflationary pressures in recent years. The country's Ministry for the Energy Transition had initially sought to award power contracts for 925 MW of onshore wind capacity in the latest auction round. However, developers submitted plans for 93 projects with a combined capacity of 1,800 MW. It ultimately awarded power contracts to 57 projects with a combined capacity of 1,006 MW."
