April 2022 – JP Energie Environnement, an independent French green electricity producer, announces financial close for the Chemin de Valenciennes wind project in the municipality of Haussy, in the Nord department. With a capacity of 12 MW, the four-turbine wind farm will supply green electricity to 7,000 households a year and avoid 1,650 tonnes of CO2 a year. Commissioning is scheduled for November 2023. The senior non-recourse debt was provided by Unifergie. The other advisers involved were Bentam and CLP-Cliperton on legal matters, 3E on technical matters and ECA on insurance. We are delighted to have supported JP Energie Environnement in putting in place the financing lines required for the construction and operation of the wind farm.
